I am Enis BILICAN, an Industrial Engineering graduate from the University of Lille, specialised in Industry 4.0.

I develop real-time software, computer-vision algorithms and connected embedded systems. I work with cameras, LiDAR and other sensors, and I can also support your developers or technicians when a project needs an extra pair of hands.

Marine defense system

FN Herstal

EMBEDDED CRITICAL DEVICE & SOFTWARE ENGINEER

At FN Herstal, I worked on the software for a complex naval defense platform. My work covered embedded software, the HMI, sensor data and the integration of several electromechanical subsystems.

  • ✓ Built the main HMI POC in C++/Qt, then the certified version with Ansys SCADE.
  • ✓ Developed confidential C++ and Python algorithms for configuration and system functions.
  • ✓ Contributed to the detailed software design and integration of new features.

Pharmaceutical AI machine vision

Takeda

AI, IT & VISION PROJECT ENGINEER

At Takeda, I led the AI, IT and vision workstream for an Automatic Visual Inspection system. The project brought together 17 camera stations, a robot arm and the infrastructure needed to inspect ten biological product formats.

  • ✓ Technical lead for AI, vision algorithms, and IT for biological solutions.
  • ✓ Built and followed the project plan, selected components, managed the budget and handled purchasing.
  • ✓ Followed the integration, performance and regulatory requirements.

Food industry innovative solution maker

PASQUIER

INDUSTRIAL IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

At Brioche Pasquier, I developed a mobile vision prototype for product traceability and sorting. It combined real-time checks, 3D volume measurement and colour analysis to assess baking.

  • ✓ Redesigned and extended the existing vision system.
  • ✓ Calculated the volume of each product from 3D point clouds.
  • ✓ Compared colours to assess baking and sent the results to databases and the production line.

Connected and ventilated face mask

OWN PROJECT

ELECTRONICS AND EMBEDDED ENGINEER

During the COVID pandemic, I designed a connected, ventilated mask as a personal project. The prototype used two PWM fans, a pressure sensor, embedded control and an Android app to manage airflow and reduce fogging.

  • ✓ Studied airflow, battery life and weight distribution for daily use.
  • ✓ Estimated the cost of a version intended for the general public.
  • ✓ Designed the 3D-printed parts in Autodesk Inventor and connected the Arduino Nano to an Android app over Bluetooth 5.0.
